Top 5 Most Attractive Women In Middle Earth

Middle Earth, the continent where the stories of ‘The Hobbit’, ‘The Silmarillion’ and most famously ‘Lord of the Rings’ is home to a great number of races and people.

Between the Elves, Dwarves, Men and Hobbits there are a number of attractive people. Here we will be taking a look at the Top Five Ladies.

5 – Rosie Cotton

The Hobbit lass that Sam Gamgee had his eyes on for many years, never quite getting the nerve up to ask her even to dance. He was quick to anger though when anyone else attempted to show themself as a potential suitor.

Fortunately, after his adventure with Frodo Baggins into Mordor he came home and had learned bravery enough to finally take Rosie as his wife.

It wasn’t long before they began to raise a large Hobbit family.

4 – Galadriel

Galadriel along with Lord Celeborn ruled the land of Lothlórien.

She was highly regarded by all races, her legend having spread far across the lands of Middle Earth.

As an elf she had natural magic powers, though she seemed far more talented in her skills than most others. She was telepathic and often used her power to speak to Elrond at his distant home in Rivendell.

Her beauty was also well renowned. Some said that she was the most beautiful creature in the world. Even Gimli the dwarf was taken by her and when offered a gift he asked simply for a strand of her hair.

3 – Tauriel

A Silvan Elf who will have a role in the upcoming ‘The Hobbit’ movies.

Her name means ‘Woodland daughter’. Apt for an elf who should be in touch with nature.

2 – Arwen

The life-long love of Aragorn, since they met when he was 20 and she was 2700, she was the daughter of Elrond and on her mothers side, the grand daughter of Galadriel. Most definitely Elven royalty.

Éomer of Rohan claimed that Arwen was more fair than the Lady Galadriel. Although Gimli the dwarf disagreed.

She was a talented healer, taking after her father and also skilled in Elven magic.

1 – Éowyn

Proving that elves do not have the monopoly on beauty in Middle Earth, the Shield Maiden of Rohan earns her place at the top of this list.

She spends some time flirting with Aragorn, though her advances are rejected due to his deep love for Arwen. That and her poor stew cooking skills.

After proving her might on the battle field by defeating the Witch King, one of Mordors deadliest warriors, she falls in love with Faramir, the Captain of Gondor. This time her feelings are returned and they eventually married.
