Cracking Ace’s great new comedy movie is still in production but that doesn’t mean we can’t tease you a bit with what’s in store.
Meet some of the main players in the film – the five friends whose lives are changed forever:
Bernice Ballard
The loving, loyal and compassionate woman who sees the best in everyone. Some of her friends might seem like bad taste to others, but she loves them for who they are and would change them for nothing.
Crispin Ballard
Newlywed husband to Bernice, he’s the type of guy who’d do anything for an easy life and likes the quick fix. Confrontation and drama are not his strong suits; he would rather avoid them at all costs. When a dangerous idea is planted in his head however, he is keen to meet his goal even if it does mean questioning his morality.
Christie Spencer
Beautiful, intelligent and kind, she has it all but her own self doubt and insecurity are her downfall. The quiet, shy introvert is a hard worker who has been a friend of the Ballard’s since their schooldays. Her gentle nature is endearing to all she meets, but in some cases makes her easy to manipulate.
Mark Gifford
Crispin’s best friend has been his confidant for as long as he can remember. He can be trusted with anything, but is prone to opening his mouth at the wrong time and embarrassing himself in any number of ways.
Barbara-Anne Monteray
Barbara-Anne is one of Bernice’s best friends. She has always been there for her with words of advice, though they’re not always appropriate or even the type of thing that Bernice would consider. Barbara-Anne may be a loudmouth, but her ability to speak her mind has the power to solve as many problems as it causes. Combined with her man-eating habits, she’s a force to be reckoned with.
