A good read, although I disagree with joining the Stormcloaks, if only because of Ulfric himself, and because of the needed unity to fight the Thalmor in the follow-up to the Great War.
A nitpick, if you’d allow; Rogvir was perfectly aware of the situation when he opened that door, he outright says he supports Ulfric – and that IS betrayal. Unfortunately for him, death is the price of betrayal in the Empire.
Finally, Ulfric (in my opinion) didn’t kill Torygg with honor. The King was young, as it is put by NPCs, I take it they mean barely of age – Ulfric is a seasoned warrior on the other hand, and wields one of the strongest forms of magic in Nirn. While he could try and pressure Torygg, he chose to kill him, showing he cherishes violence.

about the stormcloak racism, I think you should check out Belyn Hlaalu. he’s a dunmer yet he seems to be pretty well-off compared to the dunmeri in the grey quarter. if you talk to him, he says something along the lines of the grey quarter dunmeri being useless whiny brats, and that the true way to get to the nords is to make themselves useful. in fact, the racist nord that you see upon first entering windhelm complains that about the dunmeri being ‘useless’. this, coupled with the nord sense of honor, tells me that the nords not so much hate dunmeri per se, but that they just hate the fact that they sit around in the grey quarter doing nothing useful. so if say, the dragonborn were a dunmer, and he were to help ulfric in the war, perhaps this would shed a good light on the dunmeri in ulfric’s eye since he’d then realize that they can be useful and honorable as well.

There are too many justifications for the Stormcloaks cons. Also, Laila Law-Giver is a clueless moron and should be listed under cons. Everything else was ok.
